Day 10ish

There is totes a time zone where it is still the 10th. Suck it, nablo.

Hockey game was weeeeeeeeird. It was the TBL vs PHI game so we all know that the Flyers decided to turn into some pansy figure skating girls and therefore the Lightning won. Not a win deserved by either team but at least the Lightning played some hockey.

OK so yeah I win and stuff.

ETA: I blogged in my other blog on the 10th, too bad the security settings are private but that is probably why I failed at this day.

Day 9

I don't think I am going to have time to update tonight because I am going to a hockey game! Yay. Right now I am on my lunch break at work enjoying a lean cuisine for lunch. Mmmm five cheese rigatoni.

This is really random but I always wonder if No-Shave November is a completely separate thing from Movember and they just happen to both be in the same month. I think more of the No-Shave November crew needs to hop on board with Movember since the idea of both is to grow excessive facial hair anyway, at least if they merged there would be more people supporting a good cause or whatever.

I don't have anything to actually post about, just in case you couldn't tell by my totally random previous paragraph about men's facial hair.

Day 8

Do you ever have the kind of a day where you know you DID a lot but you don't feel like you actually ACCOMPLISHED much? That was my day today at work. Ahhh! /rips hair out

In other news I am missing one of my HRA reimbursement checks and it is only 10 bucks but I would really like to know where it is so I can put it in my account. Rah.

I can't believe it is only 9pm I feel so tired.

Day 7

I almost forgot! Whew, just in time.

Anyway my job interview went really well. It wasn't quite as formal of an interview as I was expecting, I mean she didn't ask me the annoying questions like "what is your biggest weakness" or "describe yourself in 3 words" etc. But there is a second interview with one of the higher-ups which if I get that (and it basically sounded like I am getting that) then I'm sure he will ask me those things.

Went out for some friends' birthdays tonight to Mellow Mushroom. They have really good food! I liked their mushroom soup.

Day 6

I am excited about my job interview tomorrow! I just need to find my suit jacket and iron some stuff and then I'll be good. And I have to print out my resume and references. Holy cow, it took me no less than 7 tries to type that word correctly.

My friends (a married couple) just bought their first house and I got to see it today! So exciting. I helped her move a giant desk into their office. There was much disassembling and reassembling.

Now I am tired and I should take a nap but it is already almost 6pm and I feel like my window of napping opportunity is pretty closed so I'll just stay up and be really tired and then sleep super well tonight, maybe go to bed around 9pm or so.

Day 5

Why is it that when I search for jobs within a 10 mile radius of Tampa, it gives me postings from Lakeland? There is no part of Tampa that is within 10 miles of Lakeland. Fail.

I am going to post about movies today. Over this past week I have rented 2 movies that I had not gotten the chance to see when they first came out, and am now thankful to have only spent 99 cents on because they both sucked.

FAAAAAAAAIL. N&N got better towards the end, but Adventureland was just stupid.

I was a bridesmaid recently and my friend whose wedding it was just got back from her honeymoon. They went to Key Largo. She said it was lots of fun and they got to do lots of cool things like snorkeling, jet skiing, etc. She posted some pics too. Hurray!

Day 4

I always get confused and thing "Create Blog" means "create a blog post in your blog that already exists" but it really means "MAEK NEW BLOG NAO PLZ."

I was going to go see my friends' band play a show tonight but like nobody is going so I am not going to go either. I've been to like 325907235 of their shows so they will not be sad if I miss one lol. Instead I am going to stay in and watch a movie and figure out where on earth my HRA reimbursement check from September went.

My parents got their power back at 9:30 yesterday morning, and their cable/internet back around 6pm today. Yay!

I have a job interview Monday. Yes, I do already have a job, but I don't really like it and if I'm going to leave I know I should have something else lined up before I do. So we'll see!

Day 3

My parents got their power back at 9:30am! Hurray. My dad has been cutting wood all day from all the trees that fell. There are still many without power though so if anyone is even reading this freakin thing then please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

One of my old classmates wasn't sure if she was going to be able to have her wedding this weekend because of all of this, but fortunately she was able to get a back up plan so the wedding is on. I am really happy for her :)

My job has been really boring and stuff lately. I've been applying for other things. Truthfully it would be of no surprise to me if I got fired or laid off before the end of this year. Which would suck but that's how it is. Oh well.

Day 2

It's not midnight yet, whew! I just remembered to post something.

Anyway I am not sure what TO post. Well my parents are up in CT and got hit really bad by that snowstorm, they haven't had power for over 4 days. They had to drive 50 miles to buy a generator because everywhere is sold out, and even the place they went to was selling out as they shopped. Insane!! I am thankful they were able to buy it though.

I have a lot on my mind, but as I've said this is not where I get personal with my inner workings and such. Plus I'm not sure how to verbalize some of it anyway lol

Day 1

Oh right, it's NaBloPoMo time!

Well right now I am at work and should probably be, ya know, working. But there is not really much for me to be doing. Also I haven't eaten breakfast yet, I should do that.

I just bought tickets for a Tampa Bay Lightning game that is next Wednesday. A friend of mine is coming in from out of town and may come with me, and I got the tickets for super cheap so if she ends up not being able to come I can probably find someone else or if all else fails just resell one or both. Probably both since it's a Wednesday night and I'd be playing hooky from one of my church commitments to go to the game, lol. I really want to go to the game vs. the Penguins just because we played them last year in the playoffs and it was a fun series... but this game is vs. the Flyers. I will have to buy the Penguins tickets next time I get paid.

I dressed up as a die for Halloween but everyone thought I was a dalmation. Oh well. :)
